Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Dehradun Defence International (DDI), we are committed to providing quality coaching, academic guidance, study material, and mentorship to defence aspirants.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms applicable to fees paid for our courses and services.
1. Courses Covered
This policy applies to fees paid for:
- NDA Coaching
- NDA Foundation
- AFCAT Coaching
- CDS Coaching
- RIMC
- RMS
- Sainik School
2. Admission & Registration Fees
All admission and registration payments are subject to the terms communicated to the student or parent at the time of enrolment.
Once admission is confirmed and the student has been allotted a batch, fees may become non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable law or specifically approved by DDI.
3. Cancellation Before Course Commencement
If a student requests cancellation before the commencement of the course, DDI may consider a refund request after deducting applicable registration, administrative, processing, or other charges.
The final refundable amount will depend on the circumstances and the applicable fee structure communicated at the time of admission.
4. Cancellation After Course Commencement
Once classes, study material, online resources, training, counselling, or other course services have commenced, refund requests may be subject to deductions based on the services already provided.
No refund will ordinarily be available for:
- Classes already attended
- Study material already provided
- Online resources already accessed
- Tests or assessments already taken
- Services already delivered
Any exception will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Student Withdrawal
If a student voluntarily leaves the course after joining, does not attend classes, or stops participating in the program, the absence or non-attendance does not by itself create an automatic right to a refund.
Students/parents should contact the institute as soon as possible if they wish to discontinue a course.
6. Course or Batch Changes
Where reasonably possible, DDI may allow a student to transfer to another batch or course instead of processing a refund.
Any such transfer will be subject to:
- Availability
- Eligibility
- Course structure
- Fee difference, if applicable
- Approval by the institute
7. Cancellation by DDI
If DDI cancels a course or batch and is unable to provide a suitable alternative, the institute will communicate the available options to enrolled students.
Where applicable, a refund may be provided for the portion of services that has not been delivered.
8. Refund Due to Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests arising from exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.
Supporting documents may be requested where necessary.
Approval of such requests is at the discretion of DDI, subject to applicable law.
9. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted to DDI through our official contact channels.
The request should include:
- Student’s full name
- Registered mobile number
- Course name
- Admission/registration details
- Date of payment
- Payment reference/receipt
- Reason for requesting the refund
- Bank/payment details where required
10. Refund Processing
Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved, the applicable refund will normally be processed through the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
The time taken for the amount to reflect in the student’s/parent’s account may depend on the bank, payment gateway, or financial institution.
11. Payment Gateway Charges
Where a payment gateway or financial institution has charged a non-recoverable processing fee, such charges may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable and permitted by law.
12. No Guarantee of Selection
Payment of course fees provides access to coaching and related educational services. It does not guarantee selection, rank, marks, admission, or appointment in NDA, CDS, AFCAT, RIMC, RMS, Sainik School, or any other examination.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority’s coaching-sector guidelines specifically address misleading claims such as guaranteed selection or guaranteed examination success.
13. Policy Changes
DDI may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page with the revised Last Updated date.
